Wild Turkeys!
2nd graders made "Wild Turkeys" out of paper, feathers,
artificial leaves(sandwhiched between) 2 CD's, corn kernals and twine.

SCARECROWS, SCARECROWS, SCARECROWS!!

Kindergarten, 3rd grade and 4th graders made different versions of a scarecrow.
Paper bags, Handprints and Paint Stir Sticks. All artists made sure to
use Nebraska Corn Husks somewhere in their work.

5th graders selected Halloween shapes, characters and objects to 
make these silhouette scenes with markers and paper punches!




Sunflower Collage
4th graders used NE newspapers, NE maps and NE phone books to create these
bright sunny collages.





Autumn Trees Landscapes

2nd graders marker dyed their own paper and constructed Y trees
then 
designed fall forest landscape.

Triangle Witches
Kindergartens used all kinds of triangles for creating every part of the witch.



Haunted Houses- 3D pop-up designs
5th graders designed and created their version of  a "Haunted Halloween House" The 3D piece folds up flat for storage until next year!




Sunflowers and Picket Fences
Kindergarteners painted a Sunflower garden then built a picket fence to contain the beauty!

K-6th graders used hand painted paper to create a portrait collages.

Watercolor Painting Techniques Collage

6th graders practiced a variety of watercolor paint techniques then selected
their most successful to contribute to these framed collages for the school libraries.




Polar Bears and the Arctic Landscape

3rd graders watched a video about the Hudson Bay Polar Bears 
then used watercolor paints(salt and plastic wrap technique),
wax paper and glitter snow to create the Arctic landscape.  They watched

a "How to Draw" a polar bear video and practiced drawing polar bears
and added him/her to their scene.
