 Watercolor Birds
Kindergarteners tried their hand at watercolor painting
and turned the circles into birds!



Origami Tulip Garden
Kindergarten and 1st graders flolded an origami tulip garden
complete with butterflies and grass.





1 and 2 point perspective "Floating Cubes"
5th and 6th graders learned perspective drawing. They used the technique to
create the illusion of 3 dimensional space on a 2 dimensional surface.



Curves , Compasses and Quarters. Oh My!
4th graders used a compass to create curves on 4 squares.  Color schemes were
selected, squares painted with water color paints, printed with bubble wrap and
assembled into a design.  



Collaborative, Continuous Line Design
3rd graders practiced using a ruler, measured and marked paper then created
a line design.  Each student started and ended the line in the same place. When all
designs were displayed they all "LINED UP"!!

Clay "Big Mouth"
4th graders created ceramic characters out of a pinch pot.



Coil Faces

3rd graders created faces out of clay coils.

Ceramic Animal Head Portraits " Out of the Woods"

2nd graders selected an animal from the forest and sculpted
a head bust depicting the animal's facial characteristics. Some were
glazed and the others used a craypa/tempera paint stain technique.



                          

Clay Slab Boxes

3rd graders created ceramic boxes with different textures/pattern






Ceramic Kitty and Puppy Bells

Kindergarten and 1st grade created bells out of pinch pots.










 The Elements: Earth, Wind, Fire and Water ... A Reductive block Print

6th graders design and image inspired by the four elements.
They carved, inked and printedeach color.  Every time they carved 
 more of the block "reducing" the surfacearea  revealing  different colored layers..

Snowy Owls
2nd graders  use pinecones, cotton, feathers, corn and sunflower seeds to make a
snowy owl ornament and paint/print a Snowy Owl scene using
bubble wrap, thumbs and cardboard.






Abstract Faces
6th graders looked at the work of Kimmy Cantrell to design these abstract clay faces.

Patchwork Christmas Trees
Kindergarteners built Evergreen trees out of squares and
triangles, then stitched it up with a bow!






 Me, Myself and I
4th graders fill in the "blanks" with a colored pencil
drawingcompleting these self portraits.




Complementary Christmas Trees
3rd graders use a complementary color scheme on these Christmas tree landscapes.
