!INITIALS!

1st graders learned what their initials are and created a block based on their
initials.  They drew different lines around all inside and outside edges of
 the letters and added polka-dot pattern designs in the background.

Name Abstraction

2nd graders wrote their names then cut them up to rearrange them into a new design.

 What's In A Name?

We are off to another great year of making ART!  3-6th grade students discovered

there are LINES, and SHAPES in their own names.  They wrote their names then chose a color scheme to fill in the shapes between the letter lines.
